Maya states these as MONTHLY wallet limits. A balance held at any given time is how GCash describes its ceiling. Whatever the frequency of the practice, comparing these two numbers directly gives no useful result because they measure different things.
Nothing here is live, since each figure was written down in 2026-09. Payment providers do not announce revisions to limits and fees, so the provider’s own page is where the current ones are.
Verification tiers
- Basic — On the wallet side the monthly limit is PHP 50,000; on purchases the daily limit is PHP 50,000. At this tier users cannot use InstaPay for bank transfers or send to other Maya users
- Upgraded — Provide a verified address and valid ID, and record a video selfie. With a PHP 100,000 monthly wallet limit and up to PHP 100,000 in purchases per day, sending to Maya users is capped at PHP 20,000 per transaction and PHP 100,000 per day, and InstaPay out at PHP 50,000 per day and PHP 100,000 per month
- Super Users — PHP 500,000 is the monthly limit for the wallet; the same PHP 500,000 applies per day to purchases and to sends. Maya says nothing publicly about what makes an account eligible for this tier
- Ultimate Users — Limits stand at PHP 5,000,000 monthly for the wallet and PHP 5,000,000 daily for purchases and for sending. Maya says nothing publicly about what makes an account eligible for this tier

How fast money actually moves
Maya settles at once on wallet-to-wallet and InstaPay transfers, and within the same banking day on PESONet. The description applies to the rail, not to the casino, because withdrawals can be held by an operator for its own review prior to reaching Maya, and that review usually accounts for the wait.
A per-transaction cap of Sending to another Maya user, Upgraded users can do PHP 20,000 per transaction; sending out by InstaPay, PHP 50,000 per day applies, which is why a larger transfer sometimes has to be split.
What Maya says about gambling transactions
Straight from the source, Maya’s e-wallet terms and conditions carry only general prohibitions on illegal activity and anti-money-laundering breaches and are silent on gambling. Different product, different terms: the CREDIT CARD terms state ‘illegal gambling or unauthorized game of chance’ is a restricted transaction, and they give suspension or cancellation of the card as the consequence. Maya complied with BSP Memorandum M-2025-029 in August 2025 as well, taking in-app gambling and gaming links out of the app. Because they are different products, a restriction in the credit card agreement tells you nothing about limits on the wallet.
