JLJL77 Responsible Play: Limits, Age and Where to Get Help
JLJL77 responsible play starts before you open a lobby. This page sets out what this reference site asks of you and who to turn to if play stops being fun. The site is not the operator and holds no accounts, as the about this JLJL77 reference site page explains, so nothing here replaces the help bodies named below.
JLJL77 responsible play: what this site asks of you
Gambling is for adults aged 21 and over. PAGCOR’s responsible gaming page lists persons under 21 among those prohibited from gambling, and this site uses the same line everywhere.
Decide three things before you play:
- how much money you can afford to lose, as a weekly cap you write down;
- how long a session lasts, and when you stop;
- one person who knows you are playing.
PAGCOR’s reminders are plain: gambling is not a source of income, set time limits for each session, never borrow money or use all your resources for gambling, and do not chase your losses. Treat them as rules rather than suggestions.
Warning signs to take seriously
PAGCOR’s page describes problem gambling as spending or betting more than you meant to, gambling for longer than you planned, and trying again and again to win back what you lost. It also names debt, missed bills, borrowing, strained family relationships, and feeling hopeless, anxious or depressed. If you recognise two or more, stop for a while and talk to someone.
Where to go for help
These bodies publish their own contact details, and you should read the numbers on their pages rather than on any third-party list.
- PAGCOR’s responsible gaming desk handles problem gambling questions and the exclusion programme.
- The National Problem Gambling Helpline, a joint project of PAGCOR and Seagulls Flock Organization, offers confidential support.
- The National Center for Mental Health runs a crisis line for anyone in a mental health crisis.
- Gamblers Anonymous Philippines and Gam-Anon Philippines run meetings for people who gamble and for their families.
- PAGCOR-accredited help centers include Bridges of Hope, Life Change Recovery Center and Milestone Health and Wellness Center.
The step-by-step plan, with the numbers each body prints, is in the guide on how to stop online gambling, in practice.
Exclusion and breaks
PAGCOR runs a self exclusion programme and a family exclusion programme. Self exclusion periods on its page are 6 months, 1 year and 5 years, and the first six months cannot be undone. If you want a shorter pause, set one yourself with the phone timers Google and Apple document in their help pages.
Staying in control while you play
Keep every stake the same size, keep sessions short, and stop when you hit your cap, not when you hit a win. Never play to pay a bill, and never play when you are angry, tired or drinking. If you notice yourself breaking your own rules, log out and use the pillar steps the same day.
Read the rules inside the lobby you use, and keep your limits in writing.
